The Hazelnut Press

Pat Lock has worked at Hazelnut Press for four years, and has particularly enjoyed working with relief prints.  Having discovered reduction linocut printing this is the technique she tends to use, but is happy to experiment with drypoint etching, which she finds satisfying if very difficult, and collagraph "building".

 

In addition to printing Pat also enjoys writing (painting) icons. The traditional techniques used are challenging but fascinating, and the end product can be very beautiful.
