John started printing with The Hazelnut Press in 2024 and is reacquainting himself with lino printing. His initial subjects have all been associated with the natural world - spiders, octopus, dogs and birds but he is determined to develop a more abstract style. During lockdown John discovered gelli-printing, which he still enjoys.
When he is not printing John enjoys sculpting in clay and life drawing.
